From Eastleigh Police on Facebook:
Hello everyone,
We wanted to provide you with a short update, after we received a number of reports earlier in the week that anti-Covid propaganda materials had been distributed to residential properties in the Central Eastleigh area.
Properties in Chamberlayne Road, Nutbeem Road and Blenheim Road were targeted in the early evening on Tuesday 12 January. There have also been similar reports that materials were placed under car windscreens as well.
We appreciate that many may be concerned by the content of the materials, especially in light of the current circumstances. Please be rest assured that officers from our local Neighbourhood Policing Team have continued to patrol the area and have made initial enquiries with those residents who have contacted us.
As always, we would urge residents who wish to have access to the most relevant and up-to-date information to visit the Government website – https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
Thank you from the Eastleigh Neighbourhood Police team to everyone who has been following the Government guidance, as so many of you have and continue to do so during these difficult times.
